Start Your Project →Learn how TradeProList works for homeowners and contractors, what happens after a project or application is submitted, and where the platform’s responsibilities begin and end.
Start here for a basic overview of what the platform does and how it is different from a traditional contractor directory.
TradeProList is a contractor-matching platform designed to help homeowners provide useful project details and connect with a local contractor whose services and coverage area may fit the work.
No. TradeProList does not perform contracting work and is not the employer, partner, agent, or guarantor of contractors using the platform. Contractors are independent businesses.
A directory generally gives homeowners a list of businesses to contact. TradeProList is designed to collect project information and help identify a potential contractor match based on factors such as trade, location, services, and availability.
It describes TradeProList’s focused matching philosophy. Rather than intentionally broadcasting the same homeowner request to a large group of contractors, the platform aims to create one meaningful contractor connection whenever practical.
TradeProList is beginning with electrical contractor matching in Fort Myers and the surrounding Lee County area. Additional trades and service areas are planned as the contractor network grows.
Visit the Service Areas page for the latest coverage information.
No. Do not use TradeProList for a fire, active electrical hazard, gas odor, flooding emergency, medical emergency, or other immediate life-safety concern. Contact emergency services, the appropriate utility, or a qualified emergency provider directly.
Go to the Start Your Project page and complete the project form. Include an accurate description, property location, timing, contact information, and photos when available.
TradeProList does not currently charge homeowners to submit a project request. Any estimate, deposit, service fee, or project payment is arranged directly with the independent contractor.
No. Submitting a project does not require you to hire anyone. You should review the contractor, ask questions, verify credentials, review the estimate and contract, and decide whether the company is right for your project.
TradeProList is designed around focused matching rather than intentionally distributing the same request to many contractors. Your information may be shared with a contractor as needed to evaluate, accept, and respond to the opportunity.
Your project enters the TradeProList review and matching process. You may receive a confirmation email, a request for additional information, a contractor introduction, or notice that no suitable contractor is currently available.
Response time depends on project details, contractor availability, location, and network coverage. TradeProList does not guarantee an immediate match or contractor response time.
Yes, when project-status access is available for your submission. Use the Project Status page and enter the requested project information or reference number.
The independent contractor provides any estimate, proposal, or pricing. TradeProList does not set contractor prices or guarantee that a contractor will provide a free estimate.
Those matters remain between the homeowner and independent contractor. Review the contractor’s written agreement carefully before authorizing work or making payment.
No. TradeProList does not guarantee estimates, scheduling, licensing status, insurance coverage, workmanship, project completion, warranties, or any specific outcome.
Visit the Contractor Join page and complete the application. Contractors may be asked to provide business details, services, coverage areas, licensing information, insurance information, supporting documents, and work photos.
No. TradeProList may approve, waitlist, reject, suspend, or archive an application or contractor account based on network needs, qualifications, document status, conduct, or other business considerations.
Requirements may vary by trade and jurisdiction. Contractors are generally expected to provide accurate business information, maintain any legally required licenses and insurance, and operate professionally.
No. Approval only makes a contractor eligible for consideration. Project volume depends on homeowner demand, location, trade, service fit, availability, contractor capacity, and other matching factors.
Matching may consider trade, service area, project type, availability, qualifications, document status, capacity, past responsiveness, and other platform criteria.
Yes. Contractors may decline opportunities that do not fit their schedule, service area, scope, or business. Repeated nonresponse or excessive declines may affect future matching.
Contact information may be released according to the opportunity workflow, such as after the contractor accepts the project offer. Contractors must use homeowner information only for the permitted project-related purpose.
No. Contractors are independent businesses and are solely responsible for their employees, subcontractors, licensing, insurance, taxes, permits, contracts, estimates, services, payments, warranties, and legal compliance.
Approved contractors can use the Contractor Portal after their account has been created and linked to an approved contractor record.
A contractor may be asked to provide updated documents. Expired, missing, inaccurate, or unverifiable information may result in limited matching, suspension, or removal from the network.
No. Some projects may fall outside the current service area, lack an available contractor, involve work outside the network’s current trades, or require additional information before matching.
Matching may consider trade, ZIP code, city, county, travel radius, requested services, project type, timing, contractor availability, licensing, insurance, capacity, and other administrative factors.
Yes. Automated rankings may support the process, but TradeProList may manually review, override, reassign, pause, or close a project when appropriate.
The project may return to the matching queue for another contractor, remain under review, or be closed if no suitable alternative is available.
An opportunity may expire after the response period. The project may then return to the matching queue or be handled manually by TradeProList.
A homeowner may contact TradeProList regarding the connection, but another match is not guaranteed. Availability and network coverage may be limited.
No. A match or introduction does not guarantee that the contractor will inspect, estimate, accept, schedule, or complete the project. The contractor and homeowner must agree directly on the work.
This means the logged-in WordPress account is not linked to an approved TradeProList contractor record. Confirm that the correct contractor email was used, the application has been approved, and the contractor account was created or linked.
An administrator account may not be linked to a contractor record. To test the contractor experience, use a separate approved contractor account unless an administrator-preview feature has been enabled.
Check spam and junk folders, confirm the email address used on the application, and contact support if the contractor was approved but no account email arrived.
Profile editing may be available through the Contractor Portal as features are added. You may also contact contractor support to request corrections or document updates.
Information is collected to operate the platform, process submissions, communicate with users, review contractor applications, support matching, prevent misuse, and fulfill other purposes described in the Privacy Policy.
Information may be shared when reasonably necessary to evaluate, offer, accept, or perform project-related communication. The exact workflow may vary by feature and project status.
Contractor application documents are intended for administrative review and platform operations, not general public display, unless the contractor separately authorizes specific profile information for publication.
TradeProList may review or verify certain information but does not guarantee that every statement, document, license, policy, review, or credential is accurate, current, complete, or applicable to a specific project.
The homeowner and independent contractor are responsible for their agreement and project. TradeProList is not a party to the contractor’s estimate, contract, payment arrangement, warranty, or performance unless expressly stated in writing.
