1. Our Accessibility Commitment
TradeProList wants homeowners, contractors, property representatives, and other visitors to be able to access our information and services regardless of disability, assistive technology, browser, or input method.
We are working to provide an experience that supports people who may:
- Navigate with a keyboard instead of a mouse.
- Use screen-reading or text-to-speech software.
- Use screen magnification or browser zoom.
- Use voice control or alternative input devices.
- Need captions, transcripts, or text alternatives.
- Have limited vision, color perception, hearing, mobility, cognition, or dexterity.
- Prefer reduced motion or simplified interactions.
2. Accessibility Standard
TradeProList’s current accessibility target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, Level AA, commonly referred to as WCAG 2.2 AA.
We use this target to guide decisions involving website structure, navigation, forms, color contrast, keyboard access, labels, focus indicators, images, messages, account features, and interactive controls.
Meeting an accessibility target is an ongoing effort. Content, technology, third-party services, and user needs can change over time.
3. Current Conformance Status
TradeProList is being developed with WCAG 2.2 Level AA as its target. The website has not yet completed a comprehensive independent accessibility audit, so we do not currently claim that every page, document, or third-party feature fully conforms.
Some portions of the website may be fully accessible while others may still need improvement. We intend to test and correct identified barriers as the Platform is developed and maintained.
4. Measures We Take
Accessibility measures may include:
5. Website Accessibility Features
Depending on the page and feature, TradeProList may provide:
- Logical heading and content structure.
- Descriptive page titles and link text.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators.
- Skip-navigation links on applicable pages.
- Form labels and field instructions.
- Text-based validation and error messages.
- Alternative text for meaningful images.
- Color contrast intended to support readability.
- Layouts designed to respond to mobile screens and browser zoom.
- Reduced-motion support where animations are used.
- Status messages that do not rely only on color.
- Plain-language descriptions of important processes.
6. Browser and Assistive-Technology Compatibility
TradeProList is intended to work with reasonably current versions of commonly used browsers and operating systems.
The experience may vary depending on the combination of:
- Browser and browser version.
- Operating system and device.
- Screen reader or other assistive technology.
- Browser extensions and privacy settings.
- JavaScript, cookie, or content-blocking settings.
- Third-party widgets or embedded services.
Older or unsupported browsers may not provide the same level of accessibility, security, or functionality as current versions.

TradeProList relies on common web technologies to provide website and account functionality, which may include:
- HTML.
- CSS.
- JavaScript.

8. Known and Potential Limitations
Despite our efforts, visitors may encounter accessibility limitations. Known or potential areas requiring additional review may include:
| Content or Feature | Possible Limitation | Planned Response or Alternative |
|---|---|---|
| Contractor and homeowner forms | New or updated fields may require additional keyboard, screen-reader, and error-message testing. | Report the affected form and we will review the issue or provide another submission method. |
| Contractor portal | Complex dashboards, status controls, tables, or account tools may contain barriers during beta development. | Contact contractor support for assistance with an affected account task. |
| Uploaded project files | Photographs, scanned documents, plans, or files uploaded by users may not contain accessible descriptions or structure. | Contact us to request available information in an alternative format. |
| Third-party content | Maps, videos, payment tools, chat services, or embedded widgets may not be fully controlled by TradeProList. | We will review reported barriers and seek a reasonable alternative when available. |
| Legacy or beta content | Older pages or newly released features may not yet have completed accessibility review. | Identified barriers will be prioritized based on impact, frequency, and available remediation. |

10. Alternative Access
When you cannot access important information or complete a task because of an accessibility barrier, contact TradeProList and tell us what you were trying to do.
Depending on the request and available information, we may be able to assist by:
- Explaining information by telephone or email.
- Providing text from an inaccessible document.
- Helping submit or update a project request.
- Helping a contractor complete an account-related task.
- Providing information in another reasonably available format.

We will make a good-faith effort to review accessibility reports and provide a response or available alternative. Resolution time may depend on the nature of the issue, technical complexity, third-party involvement, and the availability of a reasonable solution.
