Lead Credit Policy

How prepaid lead credits are purchased, stored, deducted, frozen, adjusted, and displayed.

Effective date: July 31, 2026 · Version 2026-07-31-v1

1. Nature of credits

Lead credits are prepaid, non-transferable platform units denominated in U.S. dollars for accounting convenience. They are not cash, deposits, gift cards, securities, or stored-value accounts, and they cannot be redeemed outside TradeProList.

2. Funding

Standard paid contractors begin with the required initial credit purchase shown at checkout. Additional credits may be purchased in available packs. Credits are added after TradeProList receives reliable payment confirmation.

3. Deduction upon acceptance

No credit is deducted merely because an offer is displayed. The displayed service-specific price is deducted when the contractor affirmatively accepts the opportunity and receives access to homeowner contact information. Declined or expired offers are not charged.

4. Balance requirements

A contractor must maintain enough available credits to cover the displayed lead price unless an account override applies. Underfunded contractors may be skipped by matching or prevented from accepting an opportunity until credits are added.

5. Ledger

TradeProList maintains a transaction ledger recording purchases, lead charges, refunds, promotional credits, manual adjustments, and resulting balances. Contractors should promptly report suspected errors.

6. Inactive membership

Unused credits may remain on the account while a membership is canceled, past due, suspended, or inactive, but the credits may be frozen and unavailable for lead acceptance until eligibility is restored.

7. Expiration

Purchased lead credits do not expire solely because time passes under the current policy. TradeProList may establish future expiration rules for promotional credits with clear disclosure when those credits are issued.

8. Promotional and manual credits

Promotional, goodwill, beta, VIP, or admin-added credits may be subject to separate conditions, may have no cash value, and may be revoked if issued by mistake, fraud, chargeback, or policy abuse.

9. No transfer or resale

Credits cannot be transferred, pooled, sold, assigned, pledged, or moved to another contractor account without written TradeProList approval.

10. Account closure

Closing an account does not automatically create a cash-refund right for unused credits. Any required or discretionary adjustment is governed by the Refund Policy and applicable law.
